May 25-29: Help Wanted: Make ARTIFACTS!

Make these artifact drawings, and send them to me please! I need them for a project next year.

Archeologists are people who search for clues all over the world that show what life was like long ago. The things they find when the go digging are called ARTIFACTS.

Artifacts often have art on them or look like art because the people that made them designed them to be not only useful but beautiful. Sometimes they told a story or were even used in worship.

We need artifacts for a very special project that we, teachers, will start next school year. Can you help us? Draw and color as many of these objects as you would like. Feel free to use any art materials you have at home. If you work hard to draw and color, we will use YOUR art :)!
